ii) to work mines, quarries, delfs and veins of coals and ironstone in parcels of land in Coseley Over Field, Coseley, Sedgley for the term of 10 years.

i) will pay and discharge to ii) one half of all rents payable for the same lands and mines and all ways contracted in the way of mining and to enjoy one half of all profits made by sale of coal or ironstone mined. If any other mines, etc. in parts of the same field not enclosed should be purchased by either party, then this to be managed in co-partnership between the present parties.

i) to pay half of the purchase money to enjoy half of the profits.

i)'s pit working in a close called the Withie Tree Piece near the same field to be used by ii) for half of all coals and ironstone produced in 12 weeks. As i) has recently got coals by way of trespass in the coalmines of ii) in the same field, this to be paid in money or by allowing other works to be wrought in proportion. i) and ii) having several other works of coal (detailed) in same field, i) and ii) are not to dig as to prejudice the mines covered by the present indenture and if either of the mines are worth more or of greater value than the other in the same field, then the deficit of this to be paid to the other to make equal according to the rate of purchase.

When i) and his heirs 'shall get noe Coles at Wednesbury' then i) to get coals at the works agreed to be held in co-partnership for their use.

Upon the death of any party, then their heirs, executors and administrators to enjoy the share of the deceased.
