Mines, veins and strata of ironstone in and under several closes of land of i) in Ettingshall and Coseley, Sedgley, Staffs. [detailed, occupiers given]. With permission to enter into the land and dig, bore, etc. , to erect necessary fire engines, cranks, etc. to extract the minerals and to use the roads, etc. for working and carrying away the minerals. ii) must compensate land holders for any damage.

Considerations: premises, rent and covenants
Rent: 3s for every bloom of ironstone (no less than 2,000 blooms), paying £300 in default [measurements specified]
With specified conditions including that an account should be kept of the ironstone/etc. mined, a machine being erected to measure weights and quantities. Mines should be kept in a 'workmanlike' manner.
Also, provision for ii) to buy lime and limestone from i) upon account. Prohibits the use of minerals and lime not belonging to i), with provisions and allowance to bring Refuse Ironstone or Ironstone Binds for the cast iron or pigs at the furnace.
Also, lease of mine of coal called Heathen Coal under the Ironstone Mine.
