Contains correspondence and papers relating to: public convenience at Round Oak (adjoining Frederick Street) with plan [tracing] [1912]; proposed site for new cemetery, with plan [tracing]; proposed recreation ground for Brierley Hill to commemmorate the Queen's Jubilee; stabling and stores for Brierley Hill U.D.C.; damages to streets through mining (Level Street); sale of mines under High Street, with plan [tracing]; mines under the Town Hall; and drainage. Includes newspaper cuttings; draft agreements for the purchase of mines under properties in Brierley Hill between the estate trustees and the trustees appointed by the Brierley Hill Local Board [1884]; and plan [tracing] no.3187 showing mines under High Street.

Includes: plan [tracing] no.3160 of Wesleyan Chapel Bank Street, Brierley Hill [1880]; plans [tracings] no.s 3079 - 3084 of Brierley Hill High Street [1876]; copy notice of inquiry into borrowing money to purchase mines underneath the office of the Local Board [15 Feb 1876]; newspaper cuttings; and draft agreement with Brierley Hill Local Board for land near No.10 pits Wallows Colliery for the deposit of Cinders [7 Feb 1881].
