Gill for cottages at Amblecote [1915 - 1924]; extract from cottage rental; schedules of detatched cottage holdings ('the consent of British Empire Co. to their sale is proposed to be obtained') [1894 and 1917]; notes on detatched cottage properties; printed report of the County Licensing Committee [1918]; printed letter from the Town Clerk, Dudley regarding War Allotments [Feb 1922]; copy inspection reports from Brierley Hill Urban District Council [Sep 1922]; list of cottages at Summit Place, Lower Gornal under Estates Office, with closing order and order of demolition [1914 - 1915]; and rent book with receipts [belonging to Mr Rudge] [1919 - 1922]. Many of the letters refer to hardships caused by the First World War; a couple of the letters are from Austrailia and the U.S.A.

*Upon merger in 1921, the D. & D. S. & S. became the British Legion (later the Royal British Legion).
