DescriptionDocument - part survey, part cartulary - contains a compilation of notes relating to manors, landholdings and leases. Includes reference to Hugo Lydiatt and lands in Himley, Swindon, Wombourne, Dudley, Pensenett [Pensnett], Paunce[?] and Prestwoode [Prestwood], covering period 1404 - 1611. Lists rents aside relevant leases (name of party, property and regnal year), some more detailed than others. Also lists freeholders and rents (with total). Survey of Sedgley Park lists lands giving acres, roods and perches [Jan 1611, probably inserted later]. Lists lands or manors in various counties (unknown key used). Compiled in stages - includes later additions regarding lease of Edward, Lord Dudley during reign of James I.

Labelled: 'Court of Surveys in Tempo. Hen. 8th' Endorsed: ' Box 19/36'. Pencil note estimates date of c.1643 but is probably earlier.
